Located on Avenida de França, near the Boavista roundabout, the intervention involves transforming an office building, with no significant architectural value, into a collective housing development with 40 dwellings.

A portico structure made up of columns and beams, set back from the façade, organises the internal composition of the programme and sets the tone for the interiors.

A new façade, made of perforated metal panels, gives the building character and identity, while simultaneously contextualising it within its surroundings. The size of the panels is repeated, allowing for economy of scale. The use and movement of the panels by the residents in their daily lives adds dynamism to the façade. On the ground floor, new ramps and access platforms are created to meet current regulatory requirements, and the green spaces are enhanced to ensure a buffer between the residences and the public road.
